Food Photography Award

we won first place--twice!Writers and photographers Jai and Bee at Jugalbandi.com host a monthly food photography contest centered around a specific theme--the month of September was themed crust, and, well, after submitting since the first time last March, I finally won. haha! It really is quite an honor---the competition is quite stiff, and the some 70 contestants are all incredibly talented food stylists and photographers (ahk ahk im a contestant--so i think i just called myself incredibly talented, call me Odysseus.)

Anyways--we at the Salty Cod placed first for our photo of Milk and Honey Challah Bread, and also first for the category of most original. And guess what--we are one of the judges for Novembers contest now. chouette! We think of this little tiumph over here as, well, maybe we actually are doing something right.
